At the heart of our breeding program is a deep love for our dogs. The Guardian Home Program allows us to continue raising amazing puppies while making sure every dog gets the love, attention, and family life they deserve.

While we’d love to keep all of our dogs with us, we know they’ll be happiest in homes where they’re truly the center of attention. That’s where our wonderful Guardian families come in!

What is a Guardian Home?

As a Guardian Home, you’ll welcome one of our special breeding dogs into your family as your own, while they remain part of our program. When their breeding career is over, they’ll be spayed or neutered (at your expense), and full ownership will transfer to you — forever!

You’ll get a sweet puppy or young adult dog to raise and love, with no upfront cost. It's a win-win: our dogs get loving homes, and you get a top-quality companion to call your own.

Does it Cost Anything?

Nope! There is no cost to receive your Guardian dog. We carefully select each one to stay in our program — all you need to provide is a safe, loving home.

What Are You Responsible For?

As a Guardian family, you’ll cover the regular care your pup needs, like:

• Food, treats, toys & love

• Routine vet visits (not breeding-related)

• Vaccines, flea/tick meds, and heartworm prevention

• Grooming (DIY or professional — your choice!)

• Training

Your Role as a Guardian

To keep our pups happy, healthy, and well-prepared for their special role, Guardian families must:

• Use positive reinforcement training only

• Keep your pup as a beloved indoor pet

• Avoid places where unvaccinated dogs go (like dog parks and pet stores) until fully vaccinated

• Help your dog socialize with people and other pups

• Make sure they get plenty of exercise and mental fun!

• Be able to bring your dog to us on 48 hours notice

• Stay in touch and coordinate with us when needed

• Contact us if your dog is ever seriously ill or injured

• Have a fenced yard if possible

What We Provide

We’re here for you every step of the way! We will:

1. Provide a healthy, happy dog at no cost

2. Cover all breeding-related expenses

3. Help you learn how to spot a heat cycle and care for a pregnant dog (if needed)

4. Always be here to take the dog back if your situation changes

What If I Change My Mind About Breeding?

Being a Guardian is a big commitment. Please remember, we retain full legal ownership of the dog until retirement, and Guardians agree to follow our contract. These dogs are carefully chosen to help improve our program — your role is incredibly important!

What If My Dog Can’t Be Bred?

If, for any reason, your dog isn’t a good fit for breeding (as decided by us or our vet), we’ll retire them early. You won’t owe any fees, but you’ll need to cover the cost of spay/neuter. After that, they’ll officially be 100% yours — forever and always. 💗
